Running a session

This page describes the in‑session experience and common actions.

Invite players

  1. Click Invite players.
  2. Use Copy invitation link to copy the session URL and share it with your team.

Access rules

  • Sessions started by guests are open to anyone with the link.
  • Sessions started by signed‑in users are restricted to members of their organization.

Vote and reveal

  1. Ask participants to pick a card from the deck at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Watch vote status under each avatar:
    • Gray dot — hasn’t voted yet.
    • Green dot — voted.
  3. Participants can change their pick any time before the reveal.
  4. When ready, click Reveal cards. Any participant can reveal; it’s not limited to the host.
  5. After reveal, the UI shows everyone’s picks and an Average value. Votes are locked once revealed.
  6. Click Start new round to clear votes and continue estimating.

Tips

  • Keep teammates aligned by revealing only when all green dots are visible.
  • Use Start new round to quickly run multiple items in one session.
  • The deck values depend on the selected scale (for example, Fibonacci numbers or T‑Shirt sizes).

Limits and behaviors

  • Maximum of 16 participants per session.
  • Unlimited rounds per session.
  • Guest avatars are auto‑generated; sign in to use a profile avatar.
  • The selected scale cannot be changed after the session starts. To use a different scale, start a new session.
  • Sessions expire automatically 24 hours after creation. Invitation links stop working when the session expires.
